The galactica game brings an experience that is out of this world!

New Mass Effect screens

The hotly anticipated Mass Effect caused a bit of a stir last week when the Xbox Australia website put up a release date for the game, that later got taken down. While we still wait for news on when we will be seeing this game on shelves, drool over six new screenshots after the jump to get you all excited.

As you can see, the detail on the faces looks tremendous, as do all the backgrounds. In fact, the graphics in general look fantastic, and this is one that will certainly rival Gears of War on the graphics front. It will certainly rival Oblivion’s crown of best RPG on the 360, that’s for sure.

We are still waiting for the release date, as already mentioned, but we are expecting the game before June of this very year. Hopefully news of a release will be forthcoming soon, but for now enjoy the screenshots and head over to the official website where you can check out some trailers.

Thanks ps1h1ch for submitting.

It’s a beautiful thing! I so can’t wait either. I hate the thought that my copy of Oblivion may be taking a backseat in the near future when this game comes out, but…if it happen, it happens. ~grins~
