Ghosts, we have incoming, again!

Listen up Ghosts, our intel suggests that following on from last months single player demo of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, a multiplayer demo will be making its way to Xbox Live Marketplace next week.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Whilst at a Ubisoft event showcasing the multiplayer elements of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, the team at HEXUS.net were told exclusively that “the multiplayer demo of GRAW 2 will be available on the Xbox live marketplace next week”.

Despite finding the single player demo somewhat enjoyable, we at Xboxic and the majority of our readers found the demo to be a little too short for our liking. Just as our taste buds were lapping up all that the demo was throwing at us, it was abruptly halted and left us wanting more. No doubt that was the desired effect. We can only hope that the multiplayer demo will give us that little bit more to keep us occupied until the game is released this spring.

We don’t yet know when exactly the multiplayer demo will hit Live Marketplace, only that it’ll be available next week. In the meantime, here are some of game’s key features:

  • Cross Com 2.0 unprecedented level of power and control:

The CROSS-COM is now visible in a full-screen view! Players can directly control and give orders to battlefield elements, such as drones, M.U.L.E., helicopters, Bradley’s and squad-mates.

  • The most authentic modern warfare:

The addition of separate classes will provide a unique gameplay experience. The player builds his strategy and chooses the most adapted squad.
Thanks to next-gen effects - such as real-time shadows, HDR lighting, extremely realistic water, smoke, and fire effects – players will be immersed in stunning and living war zones.

  • Multiplayer:

Expanding on the online features that made the original GRAW so popular, GRAW2 adds:

Brand new 6 original mission co-op campaign with a fully immersive experience and storyline. Featuring open-ended play that rewards teamwork as you play with up to sixteen players.

14 new adversarial multiplayer maps, an expanded arsenal of multinational weapons, character customization options, new optimizing re-spawn system, new female operatives and hundreds of new game mode options are available.

Head over to the newly launched official Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 website to learn more about the game.

Well at least it’s gotta be better than the sp demo - that bored the shit outta me, didn’t even complete it it was so crap to start with, strangely though I really liked GRAW on sp despite the many glitches, but mp is where it should shine

well said tucky, keep on saying this worms shit, the game is late no point to say stupid thing in each news. worm man and the rest of your names grow up.

Excellent, this will make or break my purchase.

The demo was way, way too similar to original GR:AW for me, and I will definitely not be spending money on this expansion pack.
