Halo 3 Beta release delayed
Uh oh. The Halo 3 Beta has been delayed, and not just by a week or two. This comes as disappointing news for those hoping to be able to play the Beta as soon as it turns 00:07 GMT on the 21st March when Spring officially begins.
In the weekly Bungie update, it is confirmed that the release of the Beta will be more like late Spring than Spring.
There are still many details of the Halo 3 beta to be finalized but one thing we did want to confirm is that the beta will not be starting next week. Crackdown will be available in stores starting Tuesday, 2/20, but the Halo 3 multiplayer beta start date is still being finalized. We’re still aiming for a Spring release, but it could be more like late Spring.
As soon as we have some firm details we’ll be sure to pass them along. In the meantime, enjoy Crackdown itself, which is a blast to play (especially co-op). And don’t forget that we still have new Halo 2 hotness coming in the form of brand new multiplayer maps still slated for release this Spring. We’ll have more to say about all of this stuff in the weeks ahead. Until then… remember, “Skills for kills, Agent. Skills for kills.”
So bearing in mind Summer starts on the 21st June at 18:06 GMT, we could well be seeing the Beta as late as June, perhaps May. Bit of a shame when people were expecting the Beta to be playable throughout April.
Bungie insist that the Halo 2 maps mentioned way back last year will still be coming in Spring though, so for those of you who would have stopped your daily Halo playing to try Crackdown can go back to an all new challenge, which will definitely be something worth going back for.
Halo 3 of course doesn’t have an official release date yet, but after last weeks’ revelations, we know that Halo 3 will definitely be coming somewhere between the 23rd September 09:51 GMT and the 22nd December 06:08 GMT.

yeah tell me about it… to be honest with all of you.. Halo 3 is probably not going to be any different/better than Halo 2… that was they’re big seller… they waited to long to release the new title since there are games that are starting surpase what bungie can do with a game… i just don’t have much faith that this “new” game will be any better than halo 2 unless they go a completely different route with the game. Hence the reason why GOW is one of the best games out there.

zelda isn’t the only good game for the wii. I have a wii myself, and zelda is overhyped. games like excite truck, madden 07, and red steel are the best wii games.
