I’m about 6 hours in ,or something, and so far it really good. Lots of fun.

The driving’s a little suspect, with the races forcing you to mo civilains down and then having a go at you for it!?

Anyway, cleared the first Island, and I’m now venturing into the next one. Think i’m going to hang back on the bosses for a bit and enjoy some rucking in the streets. Level up a bit. Still only leaping very small buildings in a single bound.

The day I got this, I stood up all night playing, then all day. Got everything ‘cept firearms and driving maxxed out,491 agilty orbs, and around 200 secret orbs. I sware. After this game, I’m NOT touching my 360 for a month….ok maybe just a day.

Well Crackdown is like a wonderful modern day Worms and maybe you should give it a go and relax you’re obsessive compulsion. That said if they plan a release of Lemmings I will be commenting uninhibitedly on unrelated stories with such gems as “We WANT LEMMINGS….This isn’t LEMMINGS…and LEMMINGS WILL PWN u all.”

This game ROCKS. The matchmaking is a problem tho and so is the fact that you have to delete your file or play under a different gamertag to start anew. But those are the only problems so far so i’d say they definately got a hit with his one!!!

As said in the review: yes you can. It gets stale quickly though, as it essentially puts you in Arcade mode, with gang members randomly spawning all around continuously as fodder to blow up.

What this game really needs is a “Reset city” button that allows you to put all bosses back in without resetting your character.

I’m with you on that bro.
I’ve had the game for two days and all I can say is wow! This is what games are about. Total freedom to do as you plaese or follow the story. Awesome graphics, Great weapons, Great control(that only gets better as you level up) and best of all, Total DESTRUCTION of whatever you can dream up. Take the nade launcher and stand on top of one of the highway bridges and cause a small pile up. Then watch as it grows into a HUGE pile up, Then blow the whole thing to the moon! It just doesn’t get old…

Crackdown is awesome. I sat down to play it last night for a bit and just couldn’t quit. I’d see a couple orbs and say, “I’ll just grab those and then shut it off”. Then I’d see more orbs on buildings across the street and I just had to get them. I ended up playing for about 5 hours.

well it’s not really that hard… the game play is not that good… I played the single player and online coop and was just bored with it… the graphics are not that great… it’s just a boring game… there you have my opinion.. yes you can step down now and shut your mouth.

To be honest the 8 is slightly rounded up

But we only do whole numbers for a good reason: to avoid the discussions of “oh help this 8.5 was better than this 8.4 two months ago”. A grade is only relevant in the 2~3 month timeframe surrounding a game’s release, because technology keeps improving.

With competitive multiplayer and/or more than 2 player co-op the game would have some more longetivity.

I don’t have this problem with COD3. My internet handles this game with no problem. I’m pretty sure it could handle a 32 player CTF on Crackdown. Which would be pretty crazy.
