Champions League demo coming soon

OK, who didn’t see this coming? In January we brought you the news that EA was working on a Champions League version of it’s FIFA Football series. MGC now brings news that a demo is on the way before the game gets released on the 23rd March.

As with all football demos, only the first half will be playable. To show off all the licenses and no doubt excellent player detail, Arsenal and Barcelona will be the two playable teams. No doubt they were chosen since they were the finalists last year; now you Gunners have the chance to make amends for things that went wrong last year!

The exclusive 360 mode “Ultimate Team Mode” won’t be usable in the demo, but there will apparently be a video tutorial as to what you can do in the full version of the game. It remains to be seen just how the card system, mentioned back in January, will work, and whether or not it fits into the beautiful game. We will let you know when the demo goes Live.

Thanks nofear360 for submitting.

well I actually like football, not “soccer”
You know, the game you actually play with your feet, not your hands (unless you’re the goalkeeper)

This is EA we’re talking about, so you’ll actually only get the pitch in the demo. You have to pay 40GP for each player.

Despite EA only releasing a few decent games it’s fair to say they are generous with demos. All most all their games have demos before release.

This is one (and only) area where EA lead the field.

I’ll give it a bash first before making a decision, pro evo 6 wasn’t the best pro evo title to date and fifa 07 showed an improvement to the fifa series.
