No boobs in next Itagaki game?
Tomonobu Itagaki is well known for the (un)popular series that is Dead or Alive Xtreme. The latest outing promised much, but delivered little (in the way of gameplay at least). Now Mr. Itagaki promises something new for his next game.
When asked about the potential of Itagaki ever having the chance to think of entirely new properties, CVG was told, “I will be announcing such a game in the near future. The title of the game aside, it is like no other type of game I have ever made.”
That therefore rules out a Ninja Gaiden sequel, or indeed a Dead or Alive Xtreme sequel. Perhaps he will come up with some sort of legal game after he was recently sued for sexual harassment; it may have given him a few ideas at least.
Less of this crap please…
All we can hope for is something that actually plays well, without the needless broadcast of sexual suggestions throughout.

Actually I think he’s talking about the new “spin” off game he’s doing. Basically its Dead or Alive in an RPG form. Don’t ask.

As much as I’ve enjoyed many of the DOA and Ninja Gaiden titles in the past, it’s good to see Tomonobu Itagaki working on a new IP.
