Mixelpix:

If you connect your play and charge kit and get it charging and then turn the 360 off it will go into low power mode and charge the controller. When it's done it will turn the console off completely.

The Play and Charge Kit is also included in the package :)

Hmm, charging batteries out of the controller... So how does one pause an online game to change batteies without dropping to the bottom of the kill list.

I'll stick with my play and charge kits since I can move them from controller to controller and they are dirt cheap...

Oh, I also charge my controllers on my PC so I don't have to leave my 360 on all night after I'm done playing.

I also don't think I'd get the charger. If I had multiple wireless controllers that got used a lot, I'd get one then. Being that it's just me with one controller, plugging my controller into the USB port works fine.

If some cool games come out that use the camera, I may buy it. I barely do voice chat with my Xbox, I can't imagine doing video stuff. In fact, I've never owned a webcam for a PC. Maybe if I had family members that had broadband, we could all get hooked up with webcams.

I wonder if this Xbox camera will work on a PC? I'm thinking it's USB and I'd assume it will.

"When i turn my Xbox on, i don’t think “gee, i wish i could videochat with my friends.”. I want to play a game with them, not stare at them."

I usually play games late at night in my dressing gown with a beer in one hand and controller in the other. Needless to say, I'm also not going to buy the webcam probably ;)

Maybe it's just me, but this camera thing doesn't seem too interesting.

When i turn my Xbox on, i don't think "gee, i wish i could videochat with my friends.". I want to play a game with them, not stare at them.

The xbox360 should've already given the ability to import your own pictures into xbox Live before the camera.

I do realize that games will be released for it, it just doesn't spark my enthusiasm like XBLA did.

I guess i'm just the odd one.

The quick charge kit can be seen on the rolling videos playing on the Xbox 360 kiosks. In the accessories video it shows loads of accessories spinning round & shows each one in detail, except for the quick charge kit. It has been seen around since may last year, so it must have been intended for launch, but didnt make it.
