Have a swing with MLB demo

Baseball fans rejoice, because MLB 2K7 is available to download right this very minute. Featuring the Cards and the Mets, you get to play the final three innings, with the score at 1-1. Something very different for a demo.

The demo will eat up 970.97 MB of your Hard Drive. Taken directly from Major Nelson:

  • Name: Major League Baseball 2K7 Demo
  • Price: Free
  • Availability: Gold members in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
  • Dash Details: Download the demo.

Notice that this demo is not available in Europe since, at this stage, there are no plans to bring the game to PAL territories. Also, as the demo is not available to Silver members at the moment, I was unable to see whether the demo was region locked or not, like a certain other demo. If anyone can say otherwise, post below in the comments.

Thanks Sacrelicious for submitting.

I think its mince that they aren’t releasing this game in Europe.

Netherlands was part of the World Baseball Classic… Every game of the World Series is broadcast live on Channel 5 in the UK… Plus the UK has an exstensive Baseball/Softball network now as well as legions of fans here.

I mean they have never released this game in Europe… my mate who’s a die hard Baseball fan had to get his old XBOX chipped so that he could get a copy that worked.

On another note… we get all the other US Sports… NHL, NBA, NFL… we even had the Daytona 500 on TV last week. Whats so special about Baseball that it can’t be released here.

BTW can you tell I want this game ?.

it could be the same kind of region licensing crap the video marketplace has to go through, only with baseball teams instead of movies.

And I wanted “Football Manager 2007″ which they are not selling in the states. Sure between Setanta and Fox Soccer channel, I get to see all the EPL games, but no FM2007 360 action for me.

Do what the yanks do that want UK games. Stop whining and order the thing online and wait a few weeks for delivery …

…and then realise you’ve just blown £xx/$xx on a game that isn’t region free.

FM2007 is region-free actually, and it’s not exactly selling by the bucketload so you could probably find it quite cheap.

See you would have a valid point you 404 if the game was region free.

Problem is I’ve already e-mailed them about that and they aren’t releasing it as a region free game… so thanks anyway but in future do yoru research first.

My PAL Splinter Cell:DA works fine on my NTSC Xbox 360.

That’s because all Ubisoft games are region-free

shame, I’m a huge baseball fan and I live in the UK. Atleast make the game region free for us.
