GTA IV definitely, definitely coming in October
We all heard the announcement through various outlets, and we all saw the now famous tattoo sported by Peter Moore. It will be refreshing to hear then that the game is still definitely on track for the October release that was promised back at E3 last year.
The exclusivity issue is for the DLC that will be available after the game has been released. In a Take Two conference call discussing financial doings, they reiterated that the game was on course, and also revealed that the exclusive episodic content for the 360 will be going live in 2008, without any suggestion of what month.
A trailer of the game will also be going live on the 29th March, according to the official website which bears nothing other than a logo and a countdown timer. IGN took the time out to ask Rockstar for any further details, who responded with the following:
“Nope,” remarked the spokesperson we chatted with. “There’s nothing else we can add to that.”
Obviously the countdown timer is continually moving, something this screenshot doesn’t portray very well
Therefore we don’t know whether it’s a teaser trailer, whether it’s in-game footage for the 360 or the PS3, or where it is located. Something will surely be revealed come the end of March, but for now you will just have to sit tight and dream up some elaborate story as to what will be in the trailer.

Where’s my cane? If this game has the same basic gameplay but with better graphics and physics I’m not all that interested. If it’s fresh and different (maybe some kind of MOG) it will be huge.
They are going to change things (they always do) i just hope they make it better than San Andreas which IMO was not as good as the the previous 2, mainly due to the fact that the whole world you played in was to big making it hard to remember it all. Also that territory thing was utter stupidity, along with the stupid fitness/get fat thing. Get back to what you do best Rockstar and make us a fun game with bloody multiplayer.
Actually, all those things you dislike about the game, I enjoy, so go figure.

I wonder if any those screenshots for GTA 4 are real. If they are, it looks super good.

COME ON PS3!! Fuck these XBOX gayboi’s. GTA4 on PS3 is the best, the xbox is crap, the graphics on PS3 launch titles are ALREADY superior to the 360, and we have more power to render the games, and with more space on the Blu-Ray u KNOW it’’s gonna be better on the PS3. All u poor 360 wankers can go cry now
