XBLA Wednesday is TMNT

This week for the Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday will see a title only recently being confirmed as existing. As I’m sure you’ve garnered from the title, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be playable in two days from now, but will it be available for Europe?

After Ubisoft said that they were unsure as to whether or not the game would be available for Europe, the press release states that the game will see a worldwide release, crushing any fears that some of us may not get to play the game. You can all breathe a sigh of relief now! The price has also been confirmed as 400 MS Points, so no need to panic there either.

You can play through all seven levels either on your own, or with three other people over Xbox Live, which should be great fun and make the game slightly more manageable.

True to the original arcade classic, gamers will be able to choose from one of four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael and master their unique ninja weapons and abilities.

So put the 14th March in your diaries, and be ready at 9AM GMT (2 a.m. PDT) for when the game goes Live. See you there!

this is the reason why they invented XBLA

No, they invented it so they can release new themes, theme decks for UNO, Retro releases like Ms Pac Man and Rally X. However, their favorite release is when they release nothing at all.

yeah how long before the arcade classic ‘PONG’ rears it’s ugly head

PONG for 1200 points with 108kb unlocks for the ball and each paddle for 400 a piece. Oh you want and AI opponent, another 800 for that and 1200 for online play. Well, if EA get to release that is.

This is good news, I loved this game in the ‘olden days’ so playing through it again will be cool.

Yeah this should be good. The price is nice.
This game reminds me of when I was young…. watching the cartoon after school…..laying on my stomach and humping the shag carpet every time April O’Neil flirted with me. She was such a little whore… all Ho’ed out in that yellow jumpsuit. -giggity-
-As it turns out, Master Splinter and April had an affair in the late 80’s. It’s true, I’ve seen the photographs on the interweb.

WHO CARES ABOUT THIS? WE WANT CASTL-
No I’m kidding, I can’t wait. I have 400 points set aside just for this.
