This is the game that is 1080p, right?

off topic but GRAW2 is a 1080p game, very good looking. Back to VT3 it’s really nice game.

I have just played the demo and the game is missing one huge element; vibration.

I never thought vibration in games was that big a deal, but when you don’t have it, you really notice! Whilst playing the demo you just don’t feel that extra OOMPH when you hit a good smash. It’s still a lot of fun, but no vibration is a bit of a let down in my opinion. Vibration worked really well in Top Spin 2 and without it in Virtua Tennis 3, you somehow feel less involved.

I’m hoping it’ll feature in the retail release, but I somewhat doubt it. The downside of having a game made for both PS3 and 360, some features you’ll get, some you won’t.

Vibration aside, it’s still a lot of fun.

*update*

I was advised by a friend that you CAN turn vibration on in the options menu. I’ve just tried it and the game is SO much better, it’s very strange that the vibration is off by default but I highly recommend you turn it on when playing the demo. Simply pause the game by pressing start and the option will be there.

In fact, try it both ways. I found it felt surprisingly empty without the vibration.

Yeah nice demo.

Is it just me or does your character spend more time diving about like a goalkeeper. Damn disappointed is my first impression, but i will give it a few more goes before i make my mind up properly.

As for the vibration thingy didn’t make a blind bit of difference i left it switched off.

Lotus, the diving is a nuisance to begin with but bare with it. I found myself diving all over the shop whilst getting accustomed to the game. All you need to do is get into position before hitting the buttons, you’ll get a much cleaner strike, better shots and avoid diving too.

But then again, I haven’t managed to win a match yet so my advice may not be the best :P

I played this game for probably 2 solid hours. NOt once could I win a match. I’m not really a big tennis buff - games or real life, but I figured I should be able to win a game after bit, but I never really got anywhere.

Wow. For the first time I can remember, A demo is clling the shot for me. 100%!
This game is soooo lame compared to TopSpin and Rockstar’s Table Tennis. Hell, Even Outlaw Tennis on the Oxbox was better than this. I know it’s just a demo but man, It looks horrible, It plays horrible, It even sounds horrible. I simply can’t believe that a talented team of people put this game together. But they did! And this game was in development for HOW long?
If I were involved with this game in ANY way, I would be embarrased to put it up against Top Spin ONE! Let alone Top Spin 2. (And a year later to boot!)
This is all strictly my opinion of course, But this is one game I don’t have to give a second thought now that I’ve got that out.

I think it’s fun but a litle too hard, like ohemgeez says I can’t win a game.
