Ace Combat 6 360 confirmed
We already gave you the heads up, now it turns out that the latest edition of the Japanese games magazine Famitsu confirmed it. According to Famitsu we’ll see the next iteration of Namco’s longtime Playstation exclusive Air Combat franchise on the Xbox 360. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation will focus around 2 armies at war and will have online co-op and versus matches.
The details are scarce and our Japanese skills lacking but fortunately Xboxyde has a nice ’scan’ up with some eye candy to feast your eyes. They even go as far as saying that this title is Xbox 360 exclusive. I guess there’s something in the air in Japan today, seeing as how Namco isn’t the only publisher in the land of the rising sun that’s finally realizing the potential sales of 360 games.
The initial rumor also hinted towards 360 versions of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos and Beautiful Katamari, there’s still no news concerning those titles yet but this announcement certainly made the rumor more plausible. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
Now, tell me that Katamari is on it’s way, or you will all have to DIIIIEEEEE!!!!!

Why don’t al the PS exclusives just stop wasting time and join our side already, all signs point to the 360 being the better console in terms of quality and popularity.
If this game is exclusive (which I highly doubt) that spells more Sony problems. Tekken is up next. Katamari will be on the 360 so there is no worry.

Only because PS had generated a big fanbase, many of whom migrated to PS2 when their next best alternative was Nintendo 64. So there was not a whole lot competition, but as soon as the Xbox came, it slowly started chipping away at Sony by doing everything the PS2 couldn’t. Then Microsoft unleashed the 360 and Sony was on the run, and look what they came up with, a crap next gen console that makes the PS2 look better.
Watch, give it time, the 360 is gonna be the next Console giant, followed by Nintendo, and a far distant Sony. Apple might join this race, but it’s unlikely they’ll join any time soon.

But according to all reports I have read from developers (i.e. people that actually know what they are talking about) the actual fact is that in practice the two machines are capable of very simalar output but the 360 is eaiser to actually do it with.
Anyway, anybody else think its coincedence that these announcements are made just before the PS3 release in Europe. Was wondering what MS had up their sleeve for that one.

Dude, I’m sorry, but I don’t live in ‘your world’ of English, therefore, I can’t understand a damned thing you say.
As for hardware failures, all new products that come out have bugs that have sneaked through the final screening of the consoles, Yes, PS3 as well. But they refined the 360, improved it with (free) online updates and customer service(some horror stories aside).
Do you know how many PS3’s froze the week of it came out? 3 out of 4 stores that I visited had a frozen PS3 and only one 360 had frozen coincidentially the day the PS3 came out.

No luck needed, I love my 360, I have the latest model and I have been enjoying EvErY MiNuTe of it. Got that? EVERY single minute that wasn’t wasted on a frozen PS3. Not to mention the wasted dollars that could’ve went towards it (As if!).
