Sonic gets new content

“Another day another Dollar”. Certainly seems to be a motto for the Sega crew, who have once again released content for their pretty awful game Sonic 360. Just like before, the downloads seem to be already on the disc, as every single file comes in at exactly 172 KB.

Directly from Major Nelson:

  • Name: Additional Episode “Sonic Boss Attack
  • Price: 150 Points
  • Availability: All Xbox Live regions
  • Dash Details: Play Consecutive Boss Battle Mode for Sonic. You need to complete Sonic Episode to play all the stages in this mode.
  • Name: Additional Episode “Shadow Boss Attack”
  • Price: 150 Points
  • Availability: All Xbox Live regions
  • Dash Details: You can play Consecutive Boss Battle Mode for Shadow. You need to complete Shadow Episode to play all the stages in this mode.
  • Name: Additional Episode “Silver Boss Attack”
  • Price: 150 Points
  • Availability: All Xbox Live regions
  • Dash Details: You can play Consecutive Boss Battle Mode for Silver. You need to complete Silver Episode to play all the stages in this mode. There are no refunds for this item.

Make up your own minds on this one, and let us know if any of you will be buying the content. It’s a shame though that a company like Sega continually does this. The much-respected company is, in all honesty, flogging a dead horse, and very few people enjoyed the game. Let it sleep, and make your Dollars some other way Sega.

Yes Im pleased for charmed too…lol - I love Sonic games, but this got to be the worst of the bunch… I’d love a new 2D sonic on live arcade though, in fact a new rendition of Sonic 2 in 2d with 3dbackground environment with 2player splitscreen like the old one had….if only!!!

This ‘Version’ of Sonic is the single most unplayable game I have come across….Maybe ever.
The controls are, Well, Uncontrollable.
Absolute garbage. IMO
And EXTRA content? Uhh, No thanks.

seems like all the crappy games are the fastest ones out with new content.

Well done boys I sure was happy when I read the news this morning even though I want to get those last 2 S ranks with Sonic first.

I think this will be the last content released as well. :)

I wish I could have got into this game as much as you did…Im still on that level where you’re snowboarding early on and you have to master that big jump…I can do that but then I get bored where it takes over as tails, then sonic again, it drove me nuts so i haven’t seen anything past that level…
