Simpsons game to be released later this year
It has been a long three years since the American cartoon family the Simpsons graced our consoles with their presence, but that is going to change later this year. Live Gamer is reporting the good news that not only will you be able to watch the first ever Simpsons movie this year, but you will also be able to play the first next generation Simpsons game.
Live Gamer noticed that EBGames has Simpsons: The Game listed on their website. The game is listed on the site for a November 1, 2007 release at the usual price of $60. While this is a while after the release of the film, I doubt many will mind. According to EBGames, the game will be developed and published by none other then EA Games.
Personally, I think it’ll be great to have another Simpsons game, especially with the movie due for release in the not so distant future. In my opinion, EA could do an absolutely brilliant job on this game by including things like Xbox Live features. However, one has to wonder if EA will listen to what Simpsons fans really want, or if they will just go off and do what they want.
Many thanks to nofear360 for submitting this!

that taxi simpsons game on the xbox was quality. Completed it in a couple of hours but had alot of fun doing it. Keeping an eye on this if its true.
Count me in….dang…more and more games being added to my list all the time. I started the year with 15 must have titles, I already purchased 7 titles so far this year, and added about 10 more to my list. Now this. If these title announcements do not end, I will go broke.
you do realize that you don’t actually NEED to buy everything out there dude….
15 MUST-HAVES for this year????
I don’t even think there are 15 MUST have games PERIOD!!!
LOL….you sound like my wife. I just picked up game #50 yesterday.
HA!HA!
they should bring out the arcade version of the simpsons, like they did with TMNT.
Amen!
That’s actually what I thought this anouncement was when I read the headline.
A long three years?!?! I’d say more like a wonderful three years without another poor rip-off of a popular game, that sells shitloads just because it has Homer Simpson on the cover.
