Eidos sequels on the way
British publisher SCi, owners of Eidos Interactive have released details of the six month period that ended in December 2006. Along with a promising fiscal report in which sales were up and losses were down, sequels were announced to be in development for two prominent Eidos titles.
After the recent release of the delayed DLC for Battlestations: Midway this week, the report announces that the game will receive a sequel. Just Cause will also be receiving a sequel. Both titles reached the top of the UK sales charts, and helped Eidos move 4 million units in the six month period.
Other business news from the release included the highlighting of SCi’s investment deal with Warner Bros. Warner Bros. acquired 10.3% of the available shares of SCi, and in return are going to be responsible for US distribution and PR for Eidos, as well as opening up the library of WB intellectual property to the developer. A bit of bad news for PS3 owners as well, as the release stated that the installed base of PS3s would not be high enough to warrant a release until the second half of 2008, and no major Eidos titles would be reaching the system until that time.

Huzzah for flooding the market with more crappy games.
where is the next Tomb Raider…
I hated the Battlestations demo. I have not actually hated a demo since Chromehounds.
Which is a shame because the full game on multiplayer was great, but noboday played it because of the shitty demo they released.
I can’t wait for the next Hitman!
:)…exactly.Im ready (note the name). The I is missing in assassin because thats how I have it for xbox live…and its misspelled their because all the other proper spellings were taken lol.
Just Cause isn’t worhy of a sequel IMO
Tomb Raider should be resurrected with a near-perfect game
I wait for the final Legacy of Kain game
Just Cause was a superb title with loads of great action. I’ll definitely be getting the sequel to that one. Viva la revolution!
