New 4000 Microsoft Points cards now available
As the time has gone on, more and more downloadable content such as expansions, map packs, themes, picture packs, Xbox Live Arcade games has become available to Xbox 360 users. Due to the fact that a lot of downloadable content on the Xbox Live Marketplace must be paid for and that many people don’t have a credit card, Microsoft released prepaid Microsoft Points cards with the Xbox 360 when it launched to facilitate these people. But for some people, 1600 points weren’t enough and Microsoft has now released 4000 Microsoft Points cards.

It was Xbox 360 Fanboy who reported that they had received a tip off stating that new 4000 Microsoft Points cards were coming in the near future. It was only later that day that these cards were spotted on the Circuit City website. If you were to go and buy one of these 4000 MSP cards, it would cost you $49.99.
With so many things to choose from to buy on the Marketplace, you’ll be sure to find a way of spending those 4000 points should you buy one of these cards. And with things such as the expansion pack to Oblivion entitled Shivering Isles costing 2400 MSP, it won’t be long before you’ve spent them.
Many thanks to both Buuuudddy and nofear360 for submitting this!

Yeah, saw this in the CC ad. It comes weeks after an Irish friend asks me for 4000 points in return for a year-long Live sub and I need to buy him 4800…
…typical perfect timing.
It was only a matter of time really. I of course use my credit card, saves the time of actually having to go out and buy these cards and paying the tax on them as well.
Very reason I do it: no tax
The new michigan tax is %6. So think of it this way, the 360 elite retails at 479.99, I will have to pay $506 or $508. Yes, there’s a good reason to avoid the taxes now.
yeah same…I have a debit card stored and all I have to do is press ‘X’ whenever I want something…much easier
wow but it’s expensive as hell in Europe compared to using a credit card
Everything in Europe is expensive as hell
