Crackdown DLC hinted at
Does anyone still play Crackdown? If you don’t, then this might give you a good reason to start playing the game again, as a screenshot has been released of what seems to be a new four player mode. Hit the jump to check out the screenshot, and let the speculation ensue.
As you can see, there are four Dune Buggies in what looks to be a racing event (!), but it’s the presence of the four players that has caused more of a stir. Does this mean there will be a four player co-op option? Is it a separate mode? What other modes will four players be able to participate in? Naturally, no-one but the developers know the answer to those questions, so people simply speculate away.
It’s unlikely that four players will be able to all play co-op, because it would make the game far too easy. Given how short the story is anyway, four players should breeze through it in no time. Chances are it will be a separate mode of some sort, it just depends what else is to be included.
There is no date for the DLC yet, just one screenshot. We will definitely keep you updated.

Maybe the DLC is purposefully late, so the majority of people that have it, have already finished the game and this DLC is released to maximize the fun but not effect 1 player.
well i hope they hurry up with this cause as soon as may 16th rolls around the only thing i’m using my crackdown for is the Halo 3 Beta

You missed the most interesting thing. BIG FRIGGIN GUN TURRETS! Maybe you’ll be able to ride with one person on the gun on the back, that would rule.
One Dune Buggie is yours & the rest are A.I Bots. Thats all it is.
i agree, i see regular police in them, not agents. the DLC is going to suck

I do not see how Four Players would make the game easy. Knock the difficulty up to the highest level (the intended level) and it would be very hard.
4 players isnt necessarily two easy assuming they increase the difficulty a ton. its sort of like diablo where when more people joined it would just make every baddie harder in proportion to the number of people. 4 player co-op would be cool. i suppose 4 player anything would be cool, but personally i think 2 player co-op on the same screen would be a lot better, i cant think of a reason why they dont have it.

They should add another 500 orbs, my city looks so devoid of orbs…
