Elite HDD transfer kit now available for free
As stated previously, Microsoft will provide a harddrive transfer kit for new Xbox 360 Elite owners for no charge. Today, they have put the order form online, where owners can fill it out and mail it in; if eligible, the migration kit will be mailed free of charge.
This offer is obviously only available to Elite owners, as you need a valid Elite SKU to qualify. Also, Microsoft has stated that the kit will only be available for a limited time (supplies are limited, supposedly). So, if you owned a previous version of the 360 and are in need of transferring your harddrive data, act now!

Supposedly, if you don’t want to fill out the PDF form, Microsoft may also accept calls to their Xbox 360 hotline about HDD orders. When your kit arrives, please note that your old 20GB harddrive will be completely erased, as the content is moved, not copied.

I would still prefer to have the option of moving all my save games on my own with my Xbox 64MB memory card, but with some games, that is not possible.
You can call them but they will say sorry but the kit is not available at this time. Please try calling back in 3-5 business days and we will have more information as to when it can be ready to ship out. That was 4-29-07 when i called them.
I just got off the phone with them and they told me that the Kit is not in the system yet, but to go to the site and print out the order form.
i got the same answer
