Forza 2 demo hitting XBL tonight
According to Che Chou, former Electronic Gaming Monthly writer (now working on the Forza 2 development team), the demo for the long awaited racing title will arrive on Xbox Live sometime tonight.
Currently, the time at which the demo will be available for download is unknown, but Che claims that the “demo is definitely hitting tonight — but it’ll be pretty painful for east coasters.” So, if you live in the U.S. and are willing to stay up to try out the demo, you won’t be disappointed. The demo is rumored to also feature 24 cars that span three whole classes.
Forza Motorsport 2, the sequel to the hit Xbox racing simulator, will feature 310 cars modeled realistically for the Xbox 360: the constant 60fps visuals will also add to the realism. The full version of Forza 2 will hit American shelves on May 24th; don’t forget, if you enjoy the demo, be sure to preorder the game- you’ll get access to 7 exclusive vehicles!

I’ve seen so many vids of this demo, what’s one more night. Funny, the hype I had for this game is just about gone. Hopefully the demo will bring some excitement back.

Aaargh.. My Xbox is in repairs. I have to wait until MS sends it back. So i won’t be enjoying this demo :’(
never send your 360 to MS, take it back to the shopp and demand a replacement, i did:) Mine was out of waranty but i got 3 red lights so i demanded a new one and got it! kept the control and HDD too! Woop Woop!

Since the game has still not gone gold, I am still expecting them to delay it until at least August.

One things that gets me with this, is with a dashboard update that has only just happening it seams strange to release a demo which is going to be big and very popular. Thought M$ would have waited to see if there was any issues with the update and give the servers a chance.
Anyway fingers crossed will be there to download when I get home from work.

Just got done downloading it here in the US. Took about 30 minutes, not to shabby.
55% after an hour, ive just set it to low power download, its not much quieter tho. I was worried about turning the 360 off cos it tells u too but it does stay on and the power light flashes every 10 seconds. Off to school now so it should be done when im home.
im in work till 7:30 so gonna pop home at lunch and set the download then turn it off so it downloads in low power mode
It will get busy in the UK when everyone rushes home to download after work 5pm onwards. At least it be quiet when I go shopping.
God I cannot wait.
