Two Worlds multiplayer details and new release date
Two Worlds from SouthPeak Games was recently delayed, however there was a good reason in the form of multiplayer details being ironed out. We have them here, as well as a new release date for you all to put in your diary.
There are quite a few new ideas that Two Worlds is bringing to the table in the RPG genre. The multiplayer side of things is completely separate from the single player campaign. The game will allow you to create custom characters with the usual RPG classes available. Players have the ability to join up with seven others to take on a variety of team matches. Other activities include horse racing and monster hunting. Horse racing alone sounds interesting enough and certainly something different.
However, all of the above has to come at a small price. Not money, but a delay in the release. Scheduled for May originally, the game has now been put back until late July, with Melanie Mroz, Executive Vice President of SouthPeak Games providing the explanation:
“We’re thrilled with the progress that Two Worlds’ multiplayer content is making, although the extensive play-balancing and testing that content requires has necessitated a shift of the release date to late July. We want Two Worlds to truly live up to its potential and gamers can rest assured that it will be well worth the wait.â€
It’s a shame, but the game seems to be getting more and more interesting the more we hear about it, with the multiplayer seemingly never ending with the amount of things you can do.

Is a decent game that i’m interested in ever gonna come out?Seriously, can people actually bring things out on time?IM GETTIN ANGRY!
Rent the PC version and you won’t care much about it anymore. It’s all hype, bugs and empty promises but judge for yourself. And besides that it’s boring as hell and story and voice acting is so bad that the term glorified trash seems most appropriate. Should that not scare you away then maybe the inconsistent controls or the ancient user interface will.
And talking about multiplayer … no, I won’t say anything. Just read what reviewers have to say about it … well, those “lucky” few that actually got it to work.
An 8 person coop would be cool if they could do it right. Would be the best of both worlds, no monthly fee with the ability to group and on top of that would be no griefers.
I’m getting fairly annoyed that out of the 23 (yes, literally 23) games I’ve been watching and considering getting, this one has been promised and pushed back more than any of them.
It’s also (suppose to be) the one that’s coming out first. I have nothing to play! Oblivion after 2 years is getting old and there are no other good games on the 360 yet.
i need to tell the world that i have balls, sagy ones
me again with my saggy baalls .my name is mandeep bal and i have a sister called sanndeep bal and we luv xbox 360
If a game is getting pushed back because they are making it better why do u complain…… if it came out with loads of missing stuff i would be really pissed i aint pleased about the push back but i rather that and get inproved than it coming out without the extra stuff
