Deus Ex 3 confirmed by Eidos
With its redefined first-person shooter gameplay, RPG elements, and incredibly deep mythos, Deus Ex has been argued to sit among the greatest games of all time by its enormous fanbase (the sequel wasn’t nearly as good). Today, sources from inside Eidos have announced a third title in the Deus Ex series in hopes of getting the series back on track.
Warren Spector, director of the original Deus Ex, left Eidos near the end of 2004 and formed his own studio in 2005; therefore, it is unlikely that he will participate in the production of this new title. All that is known about the development of Deus Ex 3 at the current moment is that Eidos’ Montreal studio will be in charge of its creation: the game will be the first project for the new, 40-person branch.
Eidos has yet to make an official press statement regarding the new Deus Ex title, but rest assured, the director of Eidos France himself has confirmed its existence. He has also stated that no other information about the title is currently available for release, but more will be revealed in time. No news regarding platforms is available either, but it will likely appear for next-gen consoles and the PC.

Totally awesome! I can’t wait! That’s what the 360 needs is a good Cyberpunk RPG, and with Frame City Killer cancelled, this is a great rebound.

Liked the original so i’ll keep an eye on this..
Was called Invisible War, not a bad game, but they tried to make it console/yuppie friendly and as such it came out less technically accomplished or as polished as the original.
They did the same thing with Soldier of Fortune 2… they made it too “yuppie friendly”
Yeah… DX2 was very anti-climatic coming from DX1. I got my hopes up when they announced DX2, lets hope they deliver on said hopes with this game.

The game play of Deus X would work great with console controllers as well. This is going to be good.

To my mind Deus Ex is the only game of its kind
(RPG/First person shooter). Why more games werent made like this i’ll never understand. I only hope that they dont dumb it down or release it in episodes. Viva la Deus Ex 3
