For some light weekend reading, you might be interested to see the final design from a competition in April. 2K Games asked the community to send in their designs as to what the front cover for the Limited Edition version of BioShock should look like. Now revealed, you can check it out after the jump.

As you can see above, the design is simple but effective, and will no doubt look great when it is etched onto the metal cover of the LE version. Adam Meyer was the lucky guy who won, and will receive a copy of the BioShock Limited Edition for both Xbox 360 and PC, and an all-expense paid trip to the BioShock Launch Party in August. He did quite well then!

Second and third place also receive some nice prizes, with the designs being shown over on the Cult of Rapture site. There were also nine honourable mentions who also get a T-shirt for their efforts.

It’s great to see a company in the gaming industry actually involving the community with some decent contests and prixzes. Now reward us with a decent game, and we will all be happy.
