Bungie’s Frank O’Connor took the time to answer some questions regarding to the Halo 3 Beta in his latest Weekly Update. It’s a pretty interesting read overall as Frankie addresses some questions regarding balancing and ranking among others, but the answer that immediately grasped our attention was one concerning a supposed Double Team mode Playlist coming next week. Frankie refrains from giving a hard confirmation but the hint is definitely dropped in a pretty clear way.

A: Wait, I’m not sure what you’re saying. You’re trying to claim that Double Team might go into the Beta next week? Wow. That would be awesome.

See? That’s kind of obvious. It seems like we’ll be playing some good old 2 vs 2 games next week, or this week if you’re one of those people who claim that a week starts on a Sunday. The rest of the questions result in more vague answers, usually prompting Frankie to respond with the typical ‘things will be different in the retail version’ and ‘we have some surprises up our sleeves’ answers but the update still makes for an interesting read. There will be some more changes in playlists and hopefully in maps before the Beta ends in 15 days on June 10th.
