Resident Evil 5 won’t be before April ‘08
It was quite obvious that Resident Evil 5 wouldn’t be coming this year, but just to re-iterate the point, Capcom’s financial report has clearly shown that RE 5 won’t be hitting this fiscal year.
The game was missing from their upcoming games for the year list for both the 360 and the PS3. This means that April 2008 is the earliest we will see the game, however chances are it will be a lot later than that.
Instead Capcom will be relying on Devil May Cry 4 and two upcoming Resident Evil games on the Wii for their main income this year, along with a Mega Man cartoon tie-in. That should see them through no problem.
Just when we will see more of this much-anticipated game? Who knows, hopefully E3 will yield some results.
It’s good in a few ways, like we’ll get a better polished game, and this christmas won’t be flooded with ace games. Bad that I have to wait sooo fucking long.
well all this means i have longer to play all the other games on my Cube again
Bah. At least we get the wii games sooner.
