Stranglehold gets Limited
Another upcoming game, another Limited Edition version headed to the shelves. This time Stranglehold is lucky enough to be boxed in a metallic tin and have some extra flashy content.
For your $69.95, you get the following:
- Poetry In Slow Motion - Behind-the-scenes documentary on Midway bringing the style of John Woo to video games.
- Extended Cinematic Sequences - Extended scenes which didn’t make it into the final game.
- MTV Studio Visit - Follow MTV visit with the game team during crunch time.
- The Vision of Stranglehold - See the progression from concept art to final game.
- The Sound of Stranglehold - An insiders look at sounds design.
No news on an EU date, but the 360 version is lacking one thing when compared to the PS3 LE: a film. Thanks to Blu-Ray, PS3 owners will also get the film “Hard Boiled”. A nice way of Midway to tell 360 owners to go suck on an egg then.
The game will ship on the 28th August in the US, and the 31st August for the EU.

That is fucked up. I love this movie!… Oh well, it’s on my Zune anyway :). Hardboiled is one bad ass movie that you guys should ALL SEE before getting this game.

hard broiled is amazing. too bad they didn’t include it. oh well still getting the game, just not the limited edidtion - not worth it.
