Clive Barker to continue frightening gamers
Did Clive Barker’s Undying send a shiver down your spine when you first encountered the creepy members of the Covenant family? If your answer to this question was a hesitant yes, then you might be interested in knowing that the English author, film director, and visual artist has no intentions to stop haunting your dreams any time soon.
At the second annual Hollywood and Games Summit, Clive Barker revealed to Gina McIntyre, managing editor of features at The Hollywood Reporter, among other things, that he had signed three new game deals. Unfortunately, no further details were disclosed. Before moving on to these new projects, the horror author first needs to get done with his current undertaking, that is Jericho, due out by the end of this year. Another interesting fact from the discussion is Barker’s high enthusiasm for games, or as he likes to call them, “a wonderful playground”:
Yet when I look at the images [in games] and their clarity, their precision, I think any artist would be a fool not to want to be involved with that.
Hopefully, more and more big-name entertainment masterminds, besides Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg, will soon realize the tremendous potential that lies in video games and therefore possibly augment the wide mass appeal that the industry so highly desires.
What say you gamers? Are you in a need of more wet-your-pants games?

Psh…I aint scurd!!!!

Yeah, why would anyone ever bother writing about Xbox games?
