MLB 2k7 gets updated; more bugs though
Anyone still playing Major League Baseball 2k7 from 2K Sports would have been delighted to receive a patch towards the end of last week, one that included a roster update amongst others. However, as with most things, there seems to be a problem that almost everyone is experiencing, to do with corrupted data. Sweet joy.
Firstly, a list of changes that the update seems to have done:
- Classic stadium: Many classic stadiums will arrive soon in marketplace
- Slider saving glitch: Has been fixed
- Offline/Online Fielding Camera added: Broadcast or Pole
- ERA saving bug: The franchise ERA works properly
- Player Highlights time of day glitch: Exhibition mode the time clock is fixed and players get the highlight treatment
- Hideki Okajima, Kei Igawa, and Matsuzaka now have their own windups
- Matsuzaka’s picture has been added
There is no official word from 2K at the time of writing though as to what the patch actually fixed; the above is simply based on community gatherings. There is a new stadium available for download (the “Olympic Stadium”) that starts the Classic stadium set and is free, with more coming in the future.
The problem though is that many people are experiencing difficulties saving their games. Some are reporting the game fails to recognise a storage device, making all their files corrupted and unreadable. Sadly there is no fix, other than deleting the new roster update from the Hard Drive. Very annoying for anyone who had spent a lot of time with the game.
Hopefully 2K can get this sorted quickly, as it is a problem that will no doubt anger many of the games’ fans.

What, no picture for Okajima, too?
At least he and Matsuzaka got their own windups, though. That’s definitely cool.
Doublepost: Roger Clemens sucks, go Sox. ;D

I HAVE TO SAY THAT STATEMENT IS WRONG!!!!!!
The yankees suck………………..

If you rename the roster update and clear the cache, saves will work.
