Texas Hold ‘Em now supports video game faces
Texas Hold ‘Em, an Xbox Live Arcade game we reviewed back in August of last year, is back with another update for those who just can’t get enough. This time around you’ll want to learn how to put on a poker face - the update offers Xbox Live Vision Camera support.
That’s right kiddies, you can now check out the ugly mugs of your virtual Texas Hold ‘Em foes. Major Nelson reports players will be able to “use a series of game faces using the snapshot mode for all-ins, wins, losses, folds and more.” There’s also a whole bunch of other features in the update as well, including bug fixes, the addition of Custom Match Lists, multi-language support and improved user results.
This is by far really fun news for those who like to see the faces of those who they are sending down to defeat in a tight poker match. We just ask you don’t don any Texas hats or dress up like a cowboy as you appear on screen.

wow fucking wow at last!!
i wonder if i should make a naughty pic for folding?
If you’re on my friends list - dont play poker with me!! lol
actually its quite fun…
OK after I loaded all my faces up. Its late and hot over here so Im sat on the bed and looking terrible…the game has full on video play like UNO…I thought it was just faces and I looked a twat
sweet i actually just got back into playin this game last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
..but then the player with no cam has the advantage doesnt he?
not really. I don’t think too many people take this game seriously. There’s no real money involved and its XBLA poker. No reason to be shaky or nervous. All the games I’ve played have been social, amicable and fun.
Awesome and about time. Now if they can only fix Competitive cheating. Watching others get upset or excited when they lose or win is ace. Shame its so small.
I dont get that? When I played last night, I saw large cam windows same size as UNO?
Well its the size of the regular gamerpic which is kinda small on a SD 28inch TV.
OK..I still dont have that. In matches I see their gamerpics inside a screen the size of video view. If you have a cam? maybe it’s only like that for other cam people. Try doing Multiplayer then Tournament, then Competitive, then quick match. I always get games like UNO where only 4 people can play ?
Thanks again for the heads up Jay!! I dusted the game off last night and set up my faces as well!!!
Sure - Im quite pleased it’s kinda brought it back to life for me…It means I can say goodbye to UNO.
aww poker is fun but don’t forsake UNO forever!!
UNO has it’s moments i guess…
Did they fix the achievement?
