Godfather 2 confirmed during sharholder meeting
During a meeting with shareholders, EA Games executive Frank Gibeau said that a sequel to last year’s The Godfather: The Game is currently in production. This came up when a shareholder asked Gibeau a question about how EA deals with more mature, edgier titles, he replied that they currently had a bunch in development, including a Godfather sequel.
While it was already known that more Godfather games were under way, it wasn’t official that it was a sequel to The Godfather: The game. More information will become available when the game is ‘officially announced’ with a a press release since we have no idea if this game picks up after the story of the first game or that it will have an entirely different story.
During a meeting with shareholders yesterday, EA Games executive Frank Gibeau mentioned that a sequel to last year’s The Godfather: The Game is currently in production. According to Gamasutra, when asked a question pertaining to EA’s handling of products for older gamers, Gibeau noted, “We make products like Godfather 2, Army of Two, Crysis - a lot of products that appeal to that older customer.”
A launch date nor any platforms were mentioned but if the previous game is any indication then we’ll probably see it on all major platforms again.

A sharholder meeting? Never heard of one of those.
Here’s hoping it’s a sequel to the last game. Maybe they can un-mediocre-ify it.
