Anyone at all excited about the upcoming football game from Konami will definitely want to hit the jump, as some leaked screenshots of PES 2008 have found their way onto the internet. They got pulled here and there, but finally, one site managed to keep them up. Not only are there screenshots, but also some of the editing features available. And they are all from the 360 version.

Not all of the shots are in High Definition, but they reveal enough to know that Manchester United will have licenced players but not a licenced name. Rooney also looks as ugly as ever.

You can also now map your own face into the game, presumably with the use of the Vision Camera. Sweet joy, now there is less need to spend hours trying to map your own face. Additionally, there is also the option to change the music should you not like the default ones provided by Konami. This can be seen below, where it seems you will be able to create your own playlists. Excellent news indeed.

Any concerns? Well the shots seem to be lacking the crisp visuals we had come to expect, with the players looking slightly peculiar. However this might be for a number of reasons, for example some aren’t HD and the game has a while yet until completion.
