How to make an Xbox 360 Arcade joystick

The crazy guys at GamersReports decided the Xbox 360 controller or Hori DOA4 stick just would not suffice for their Dead or Alive 4, Street Fighter 2 and other fighting game requirements, and ’simply’ built their own joystick.

The six-page DIY-guide is very verbose with lots of images to explain the harder parts, and all you need is:

  • DIY Street Fighter 2 joystickWired XBox 360 Controller
  • Street Fighter Anniversary Collection Joystick
  • Soldering Iron
  • Razor Blade
  • Wire
  • Small Phillips head screw driver (for the controller)
  • Normal sized phillips head screw driver
  • A lot of patience

Good luck, and don’t come complaining here if you manage to completely screw it up. Just complain to Chris Gillis who gave us this wonderful link.
