NFS ProStreet cars revealed so far
The latest installment in the very long-running Need for Speed series is set to stray far from the franchise’s deep arcade roots. Reckless driving will no longer be inconsequential, and tuning your car to perfection will be more crucial than ever; the Need for Speed series is taking the plunge into the world of realism. Consequently, what cars you’ll be driving will be of the same importance.
Without further ado, here’s a list of cars that are known to be featured in the game so far:

- 1989 Nissan 240 SX (S13)
- 2006 Acura RSX
- 2006 Porsche 911 (997 Gen) Turbo
- 2006 Lotus Elite

- 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86
- 1995 Mazda RX-7
- 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse
- 2006 Audi S4
- 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition
- 2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI
- 2008 BMW M3
Going through the incomplete list of cars that you’ll get to try out in NFS ProStreet, you’ll notice that it spans over four decades of the automotive spectrum. That’s a first for a Need for Speed title, since there’s never been a game in the series that boasted as wide-ranging a list of cars, both old and modern, as this upcoming edition.

Good to see Honda/Acura in a NFS game. I would rather see a 2003 RSX type-S (my real life car) but an 06 is better than no RSX.

I don’t get why people bash this game. I see it a lot. Personally this is the only racing game I play. I am going to give Sega Rally a go this year though. Honestly I am more of a FPS fan.
At least it’s daytime in that screenshot… I hate the games where you have to race in the darkness.

The 02-04 RSX was in both Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2. I’m glad they’re finally upgrading to the better performing, and better looking 05-06 model, which is what I own
