New trailer for new game Saboteur
Pandemic Studios (of Mercenaries and Full Spectrum Warrior fame) have been quietly working on a new project behind the scenes, but IGN were lucky enough to get a teaser trailer of Saboteur, revealing that the game is yet another World War II game; but with a very different twist.
Saboteur will be a stealth game, and is set in War-torn Paris. The Nazis are invading and interfering with Sean’s life in more ways than he’d like, so the Irish guy is soon seeking revenge.
Speaking to IGN, Producer Phil Hong had the following to say:
“Saboteur is a dark tale of revenge set in the seedy underground of Nazi-occupied France. This first teaser trailer is focused on just the personal motivations that push you on a path of vengeance against the men who destroyed everything you care about. We’re also proud to give you a first visual glimpse of our ‘Will to Fight’ system - stay tuned for more details on that in the near future. (And for those of you that analyze every frame, there are a few other clues on the game tucked away inside this first teaser.) So, please sit back and enjoy your very first taste of Saboteur, and feel free to drop by the Pandemic message boards to let us know your thoughts.”
The idea is intriguing, and it’s not everyday you get to play as a non-American. Keep your eyes on this, there will likely be more teaser trailers soon.
The game is expected to ship in 2008, though the platforms it will be released on are currently unknown.
Damn, I thought it was a remake of the old Spectrum ZX game, which would probably have been more exciting than another WWII game.

Mercs2 almost finished . Saboteur also looking promising. Is it just me, but doesn’t that feel like Assassins creed in WW2-world?
Bioware is working on Dragon Age and on new MMORPG, plus one secret project. Pandemic has also couple of new project going on which we haven’t heard yet.
saw this awhile back in a GI mag and was looking pretty good the black and white part is actually in game footage it goes between black and white and color it kinda cool i want this game the song fit the trailer real well just like the bioshock music.
