Ninja Gaiden 2 to be first shown at TGS?
It’s about time to hear some news on Team Ninja’s sequel to the critically-acclaimed action hit Ninja Gaiden. Gamespot Korea has apparently received a confirmation that Ninja Gaiden 2 is scheduled to appear for the first time ever at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
The confirmation was made by an anonymous insider in the Japanese gaming industry who went on saying that the game would be shown for the Xbox 360, with no mention of a PS3 version at the moment.
Seeing as how Ninja Gaiden made its way onto Sony’s Playstation 3 eventually, the possibility of Ninja Gaiden 2 ending up being a multi-platform title isn’t out of question.
Let’s wait for something more official before making any sort of announcement.

i hope its an exclusive for Xbox360. Otherwise Xbox360’s 2008 releases is not shiny (yet)

It’d be a bit stupid if Microsoft didn’t get this as an exclusive and give Team Ninja some good development tools, cos NG Sigma on PS3 could have been quite a bit better
Finally, some news about our favorite ninja. First off, it probably will be exclusive to 360 base on his prior comments….time exclusive that is. Sigma sold well on the PS3 so expect that to be ported with probably some additional features.
It’ll be 360 exclusive. The team that put Sigma on PS3 was not Itagaki’s team and he states over and over that he’ll only work with the tech he likes the best, just like he’s said over and over that it happens to be 360.

I can’t beleive how many morons don’t realize Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3 is a port from the xbox version of Ninja Gaiden but with some added gameplay. That makes sense, release Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox, then port it to the PS3, then port it back to the Xbox 360. Get a brain. It is Ninja Gaiden 2.
The last time I heard Ninja Gaiden 2 was going to be a 360 exclusive. I loved playing Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox. I still have my Black version. I also heard that Sigma’s difficulty was dumbed down on the PS3. I remember when Namco did this with the first Dead to Rights. The Xbox version was hard as hell and than they put it on the PS2, made it easier and added cheats.
All I really know for sure though is that I’m most certainly buying Ninja Gaiden 2 no matter what.
Ha Ha Ha…Pretty dumb comments here on NGS for the PS3. It has been heralded as the best of the series to date and the graphics and game play have been dramatically improved over the the XBOX 360 version.
I could really care less if the next game is xbox 360 only or cross platform. I refuse to buy any game dumbed down to the pc level graphics in the xbox 360. If any one of you have played the 360 version there is no honest way for you to claim it is even close in all aspects, graphics, game control, and overall game play. And there is just no way the xbox could match its graphics period.
Be confident by the middle of next year xbox 360 games are going to look tired and old compared to the PS 3 games.

How’s about the one stating that Sigma has improved graphics and gameplay over the 360 version? There was never a 360 version.
In your rush to jump on Sony’s cock, you must have misread that somewhere. Perhaps you just read what you want to read.
PC graphics tend to be cutting edge too, so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. In a years time the PC will probably look better than both, shame there’ll be nothing out on it.
