take it from a guy who does alot of drugs and booze. the xbox 360 line up is much better with or without mass effect. i wouldn’t touch a ps3 right now unless it was under $100 bucks and came with a ounce of pot.

No, it really doesn’t. See: Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Project Gotham 4, etc. The PS3 will start to pick up next year, but from those games you listed, Warhawk, Lair, and Haze will likely bomb in the reviews, and SOCOM isn’t coming out until next year (the real one, not the remake). Don’t get me wrong, the PS3 has some good selections this holiday, but the 360 has the most game of the year contenders.

You’ve gotta admit though, they’ve got some good stuff coming like Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Warhawk, Lair, SOCOM, Haze, UT3, and almost the same 3rd party games as 360. But don’t get me wrong, I’m loyal to my 360, except the PS3 has more exclusives this season.

Oh, I was worried there for a minute. At least it will still be out this year so that the 360 still has the killer games that were promised this holiday season. Without Mass Effect, the PS3’s line-up would be better.
