New CoD 4 trailer shows off the perks
Anyone still unsure about the ‘perk’ system in Call of Duty 4 may be intrigued by the video we have for you. The video puts up a list of different perks, and demonstrates a couple, showing how they work. And yes, it looks like a lot of fun.
The perks will no doubt make each battle different, depending on how you set up your character and how others have set up theirs.
Don’t be disheartened by the graphics; the video has been compressed a fair bit, portraying the game in a worse light than it should. It still looks excellent, and the introduction of something fresh for multiplayer is definitely welcomed.
As a final reminder, there will be a lot of CoD 4 coverage in the coming days, especially if the Beta goes Live soon for the public.

That Last Stand thing looks pretty lame, since it says it counters headshots…
I think it means it is countered by headshots
It means you can use it unless your shot in the head or blown up… bit obvious really!! Another thing, did you notice at the beginning, it said “Player 12 in an 18 player match”… the 360 has 12 maximum so must be PS3 or PC version.
Isn’t Halo 3 gonna be 16 players?
I doubt that the PC version would be limited to 12 player matches, but either way this game looks very nice. I hope they have a weapon that is comparible to the the KAR98 or rifle. It has always been my favorite of all weapons. Maybe it is now an M-16 in single shot?
Sorry, what I meant was that the clip must be from the PC or PS3 version.
It would have had to be taken from the 360 or PC version, because it has the blue X button from an Xbox 360 controller, come up on screen to reload more then once throughout the video.
Yeap, think you might be right… just read on the CharlieOscarDelta forums that the beta is limited to 12 players max but the full version might be 16 or 18!
the full 360 version may be 16 or 18? Oh, that’s cool. I was expecting 8!!
