[GC07] New Rock Band Tracks announced
Ten more tracks have been announced for Rock Band. Along with the new tracks, EA announced that the game will be localized for the European market. The Clash, Rolling Stones and more all behind the jump
Without further ado, the new tracks are
- Rolling Stones - “Gimme Shelter”
- Deep Purple - “Highway Star”
- The Clash - “Should I Stay or Should I Go”
- Faith No More - “Epic”
- Smashing Pumpkins - “Cherub Rock”
- Radiohead - “Creep”
- Beastie Boys - “Sabotage”
- Jet - “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”
- OK Go - “Here It Goes Again”
- Nine Inch Nails - “The Hand That Feeds”
All of the new tracks are from the “original master recording”, so no covers in this batch of songs. Rock Band is shaping up nicely, and has a good spread of rock from all eras of the genre. Look for more tracks and game info soon as the game nears its release this fall.

Creep isn’t gonna be very fun to play, though…
But fun to sing! Especially toward the end (from about 2:22 - 3:02) I’m sure it’ll be in the first tier of songs. I love this song.
I’m REALLY hoping they don’t censor any of these songs, though, because Creep won’t be very fun if you can’t say “You’re so fuckin’ special. I wish I was special.” There’s something sadly beautiful about that. I don’t know about you, but I can relate to every word in this song. So to take censor one of them would pretty much be bullshit. Either way, I know I’ll be saying “fuckin’” and not “frickin’” if they do decide to censor it. Even if the phenome detector deducts points for it.
of all the radiohead songs they go and pick the worst one possible.
oh well. this game will suck for solo gamers anyways.
The voice that sings along in the background doesn’t say the word fuck, but YOU can since the song contains some freestyle parts where you can say whatever you want. These parts are probably not entirely coincidental exactly at the point of the ‘fucks’
