Huxley going Beta next month [Update]
When was the last time we heard of Webzen’s Huxley? We can’t quite recall either. Let’s just say it’s been ages. Anyhow, thinking it’d be a good time to finally crawl from under their rock, Webzen has come forth with an announcement of a closed Beta for their much anticipated MMOFPS.
Update: Thanks to Skillz for Killz, we have just received confirmation that the first Beta set to kick off September 13th applies to Korean PC gamers only. Here’s to hoping players from other regions will get a go next time.
Starting August 28 (no joking), players can sign up for the five-day closed Beta on the official Huxley website. The lucky 999 selected will get the opportunity to try out game modes like team death match, radar domination, and quest from September 13 to the 18th. According to the announcement on the official site, this is only the first Beta of more planned for the future.
Whether the closed Beta will be restricted solely to US gamers or will be available to other territories as well (ala the Call of Duty 4 Beta) wasn’t noted.

Well if you look at the websit you have given it gives USA, Thailand, China and Korea so i’d guess it will be a US only one but just a guess. Hope UK get it too tho.
I may attempt to sign up. I like Beta testing new games.
It’s not the first 999 to sign up. It’s the lucky 999 selected from the website will get to play it. I went and register cause I have been waiting for this game.

Uh yes there has. The Xbox 360 version is scheduled to be released over 6 months after the PC version. Webzen hasn’t even beta tested the PC version until this. Clearly you’re misinformed.
I’d also like to add that Webzen even stated the beta was for Korean players only. Need a source, Zan?
