SPF II Turbo HD Remix hitting next week
Word is out about next week’s Xbox Live Arcade title earlier than usual Monday afternoon. Capcom has announced on its official blog that Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (inhale) will be making its way to the XBLA next Wednesday.
Christian Svensson, Sr. Director of Strategic Planning & Research, has also confirmed that the remixed edition of the classic would run for 800 MSP. The game is said to feature high-resolution visuals and a couple of gameplay tweaks to ameliorate the overall experience. Also, the Official Xbox Magazine apparently scored the arcade game a high 8.5/10. Let’s hope it really is that good.

This game was single handedly responsible for eating countless quarters and hours in the arcade hall.
My friends and I would wage epic “winner goes on” tourneys on this game. Loads of simple yet adictive fun.

OXM also shows that the character sprites were just upscaled instead of being redrawn…. I thought redrawing the characters was the whole point of this release.
how about the fighting game in hd instead of some tetris rip?
