[GC07] Arkadian Warriors under way for XBLA

Wanako Studios, a subsidiary of Sierra Entertainment, has announced that it’s hard at work on their third Xbox Live Arcade game carrying the title Arkadian Warriors.

Having previously developed 3D Ultra Minigolf and, more importantly, Assault Heroes, Wanako’s next should end up being at least average.

Define your legacy… Awaken your inner-beast… Fight with one of Artemis’ three powerful warriors to the ultimate confrontation with Gorgon herself. Spanning treacherous dungeons consisting of countless enemies, heinous and powerful bosses, your warriors will embark on a trek of unimaginable proportions.

  • 3 Mighty Warriors – Soldier, Archer and Sorceress – each with unique leveling-up ability
  • Monstrous Shape-Shifting Ability – Each Warrior transforms into their own iconic alter ego – Phoenix, Lion or Dragon – with increased power to crush their enemies
  • Diverse Dungeon Generator – Never battle enemies in the same dungeon twice
  • Intense Multiplayer Co-Op Action – 2 players online or off

If the description and screenshots are anything to go by, the title shouldn’t play much different than the hack and slash hit Diablo. All the characteristics seem to be there.

Arkadian Warriors is set to arrive to the XBLA later this year.
