While the public rushes off to get their hands on the latest games, most publishers attending the GC grab the opportunity to show off their upcoming games in all their glory. Gamecock is no different when it comes to exhibiting its line-up of games, as proven by the recent multiplayer details they have spilled on Legendary: The Box.
Like its single-player part, the multiplayer side of things will involve three parties: black-ops soldiers, rebels, and ancient fiends. Players will be granted the choice of choosing between the first two parties, with the latter left in the hands of the computer. The neutral monsters make sure to provide constant threats to the two opposing teams, all the while players on either team fight it out until the end. Obviously, the last team standing wins the match.
Exploiting the monsters to your advantage will be possible as well. For example, a player will be able to make a gryphon follow him/her into the opponent’s base or lure an enemy into a hideout of werewolves. Interesting possibilities such as these will no doubt put a more strategic spin on the gameplay.
Legendary: The Box is slated to ship in either May or June 2008.
