Don’t know about a Burnout Revenge demo, but I heard (on this site I think, not sure) that there will be a Battlefield 2 demo in mid-March…Hopefully.

Why is a demo released after the game comes out? I remember back in the PS1 days when there were all the demo’s on a demo disk. heck even XBOX there were demo disks of games before they came out. i would much rather hit up a demo disk if i could play the game early to determine weather i want the game or not. To me 60 bucks is alot to pay for a game to find out weather u like it or not. I know u can rent it but even now thats like 7 bucks (here anyways). They need to start working harder to get demo’s out before the game like it use to be back in the day lol.

Audiolab: Dude, these rumors are commonplace and important to the Xbox community, so I’d prefer being informed of them. (I actually had to hear about the GRAW demo from a kid on Live…)

in my opinion, the fact of the matter is M$ (and other certain web pages) should not display information scheduling a release date that isn’t confirmed. that’s half the problem, people such as me are a bit pissed with M$ because were still waiting on a demo that was promised to be out days ago. if the had never said it was due for release on the 3rd then there would not be a lot of angered gamers wanting to play the outfit.

i also think bringing out a demo weeks after the game is in the shops is a little silly. (that’s not a complaint, just an observation)

Audiolab; let me break it down to the 3 demo’s you’re reffering to (GRAW. N3 and The Outfit);

The Outfit: this was first rumored in this article becuase an ad was published stating that a demo was available on the marketplace. Later on it was officially announced by multiple sites (IGN, TeamXbox) and a date was given (March 3rd) (take a look here). IGN is a well respected gamesite and I don’t see any problem with reporting on their news.

GRAW: This was brought up by a Ghost Recon developer in his blog on 1up (here). I can’t think of a more reliable source. Later on Major Nelson confirmed it in this podcast and said that it would be there a week before the launch or so. Since Major Nelson often said that he wouldnt post something on his site unless it was a hundred procent sure, I think this is a pretty reliable source as well.

N3: The Ninety Nine Nights demo was announced by MS Japan. They specified a date and all. No further explanation needed, MS said it, case closed.

I think I’ve defended Xboxic.com and my actions enough, nobody is forcing you to read this site and I couldn’t care less if you didn’t.

Audiolab; one of the Ubisoft guys clearly stated on the IGN forums that that post was legit. I guess they know their co-workers better than you. And you are clearly incompetent to distinguish the essence of this article, the only reason why that guy on the Teamxbox forums got mentioned was because of the response on the IGN forums. So even if PRINCE_NINEONE1 was fake the article still stands.

Listen up people. First off I’d like to say I’m not one of those loser geek ass forum geeks that have no life other than to flame total strangers in a virtual world all day due to total lack of a life and getting laid.
That being said I’d like to comment about this topic in general for the only reason I have which is my interest in G.R.A.W.

I think its more than likely people will see the demo on the marketplace sometime around the 7th. Just tracking Ubisofts habbits with this kind of thing in the past with many other games, it would seem that this is the date the demo will arrive based on a number of factors.

Someone here had a point though. There is really no point in being pissed off or anything else because the full game will be out in a matter of days, its not like we are going to be waiting on the game for another two months and this demo is all we have to cling to. All I am saying is that some people need to have more patience and relax. Yes the game is awesome and yes its the title to usher in the true next gen games but a few days is nothing.

I know I’ll probably get flamed as most people do on these types of places, probably by some guy who lives with his parents and has nothing better to do with his life than to sit in a virtual world talking smack he would normally get his head beat in for in real life.

Relax people, excellence is upon us and lack of a demo is not the end of the world……… for most of us……

Immortal : I hear you but it’s not in Ubisofts hands anymore so you can’t compare it to Ubisoft’s habbits :). I was not planning to buy this game but if the demo would be released this weekend (or anytime before the releasedate) it could’ve changed my mind. It still can I won’t buy it untill the demo is out. Since the demo is done I don’t see why MS won’t release it, not that smart if you ask me. But perhaps they’ll have their special reasons, who knows. I can do without :).

whats up with all this you all have no life crap. we all read these comments because we are interested. you are here too, talking smack like the rest. i enjoy my life, and i have a healthy lifestyle, and yes, sometimes, SOMETIMES, i talk smack. it doesn’t even necessarily make me immature, though it is possible i behave that way sometimes. there has been a lot of disappointments for people with the 360. the animosity is not at all about one demo or one delay. most of us have lives, but the 360 is involved in them.

All the aggression lately, it’s just flowing thru the air everywhere. A huge amount of xbox community tension built up to the point of critical mass. When GRAW does come out, there’s gonna be alot of fraggin going on…..

Demo’s and games getting delayed is a 20 year old thing already. Hell, in those days games wouldn’t even get announced, you’d just see them on the shelves all of a sudden. But well, things get delayed, and software most of all, that’s a fact of life.

I thought this was an Xbox forum. For those who want to argue with others go to ‘beef with people you never have and never will meet’ forum. I don’t have the link.

I did not aim my comment towards anyone directly, the very fact you replied in the fashion you did could be a direct result of a nerve being touched. Now pay close attention to this next part because I don’t want to start a flame war of which I really don’t have the time to involve myself in.

I’m not saying you replied because I touched a nerve with you, I’m saying its a possibility and thats all.

I talked with Microsoft today and they told me the demo will be on the market place as of tomorrow, no specific time was stated but this is the information they came up with after about an hour on the phone with them going through multiple reps to higher levels, supervisors etc.
