[GC07] New Eternal Sonata screens stroll in

Eternal Sonata (aka Trusty Bell: Chopin’s Dream), the game you’ve all had the chance to try out since earlier this month, has already been released in Japan and other Asian territories. Next stop being North America and then Europe, the game has had to undergo a lengthy localization process, so everybody can equally enjoy the storyline. Aimed for release next month, Namco Bandai saw it fit to throw out some new screenshots of their latest JRPG.

In Eternal Sonata, players will experience the unravelment of Chopin’s dreams as he lies on his deathbed. Throughout the game, new characters will be introduced to help progress the story, as well as to add to your repertoire of playable characters. Naturally, the game world (still in Chopin’s head) will be populated by numerous creatures, the appearance and attacks of which will change depending on whether they’re in the light or dark. Similarly, your special attacks will be affected in the same manner.

Eternal Sonata is scheduled to hit stores on September 14th in North America and on the 28th in Europe.

This game is going to be great it takes all the things I like from classic turn based rpgs and spices it up with real time elements plus it has an awesome art style and musical score.

This is one of my most anticipated games of the year but people dont seem to know or care about it as much as they do for Blue Dragon, which looks good ,but I just dont want to see Eternal Sonata become a game that reviews well but sells poorly, like Viva Pinata or Psychonauts.
