CoD4 Beta tokens for everyone
Everyone that signed up during yesterday’s 24 hour registration period that is. Announced earlier today on Fourzerotwo, it was revealed that Infinity Ward will be rolling out 10,000 beta tokens a day until everyone who registered has one.
We’re going to send out congrats emails to all of you eventually, but keep in mind (again) the tokens themselves will be in waves. So you might get it today, you might get it tomorrow, you might get it later than that. So be patient, I know everyone would love to be in the first wave, but keep in mind this is a beta TEST, and this is one way were testing our servers performance is by ramping up slowly and tracking how it effects the game, playlist downloads, matchmaking, etc. We’re hoping to try and get them all out as quickly as possible, but just wanted to give you a heads up if you don’t see a token immediately in your inbox.
If you missed the sign up period don’t despair, there will be other ways to get a beta token. You’ll be able to snag one through Gamestop and Gamespot. Another sign up on CharlieOscarDelta was also mentioned as a possibility. For those of you outside of the US, your own sign up and exclusive beta tokens are coming soon.

Hmmm, I assume if they’re giving them away liberally then they’ll actually open this up to Europe sometime soon… and there’d better not be a damn shortage of keys when it gets to us.

Aww man I was too busy playing Warhawk and I missed the signups…
Oh well. WARHAWK RULES!! Chances are if i got in the beta of cod i’d play it for like an hour then go back to Warhawk.
Really you’ll probably play neither and spend your time here posting trolls about the PS3 like you usually do.
I think Halo3 will be the bigger deal, but this game is brillaint and the Beta is fantastic now I’ve unlocked everything in it. It is the best of it’s kind and I can’t wait to see the single player experience either. All we need now is a demo too

I signed up and requested a token…..But im in the U.K…..I know its not open to Europe yet but will i still get a token for futer use?
I’m pissed…Just sent my TV off for repair(Damn component connection is screwed up), and I am in the beta. I am going to go get my old tube TV outa storage later though.
So, If I signed up at CharlieOscarDelta.com before the beta started, do they consider that signed up? Or was I supposed to go re-enter for a beta token? Because I still haven’t recieved a token or an email.
No…you had to register for the beta on charlieOscar. Whats messed up is I registered and enter my friends name for the Beta and he got HIS token today while I’m sittin here with my dick in my hand.
I got a token too today. Check the charlieoscar… boards by making a post. If you got a green star under your name, you’ll get an email pretty soon - its how you can tell

I got mine, but didn’t see it until this morning right before I left for work… and probably won’t get to try it out tonight as I have tickets to the Bears game, but definitely looking forward to it this weekend!
