Halo 3 confirmed as Gold
Yes everybody, we rumoured it only a few days ago, but the three years of hard work has paid off as Bungie have officially finished Halo 3 and sent it off to the printers.
All that remains now is to get enough copies pressed for the one million pre-orders already placed by North Americans. Then you have all those chancing their luck come release day for a copy, and then you have Europeans the very next day. It’s quite a task, but with over three weeks to go, it should be ready in plenty of time, with ample stock on the shelf too.
Expect rumours of leaked copies, leaked copies and leaked storylines for the next three weeks or so now. It’s going to be a long wait for many.

I’m just curious, am I the only one who don’t give a rat’s ass about Halo? I don’t understand why it is considered to be the game of all times. Nothing special.

Frankly, I’m a little pissed off at myself about the whole Halo thing. I had played through Halo 2 with my stepdaughter a while back, and decided I would play through it by myself to “get in the spirit”.
I realized very quickly that FPS now appear to make me nauseous very quickly. After playing for about half an hour, I started feeling bad. My stomach hurt and my head was swimming for a couple of hours afterwards. I tried a couple more times with the same result.
The end result is that, unfortunately, I’m with you. I can’t really bring myself to give much of a rat’s ass about Halo 3. No matter how good it is, I doubt I’m going to be able to enjoy playing it. Suxor.
Go play Marathon on Arcade. It like Halo without the Motion Sickness!

Right now only 1 PS3 game averages at least a 90 out of 100 average score, and that game was on the 360 a year earlier. And the 360 has 8 games 90 or higher plus another 14 85-89. 22 games 85+ compared to 6 for the ps3 85+. 6 games worth getting. No, not everyone is stoked about H3. I played the Beta and was not impressed. But having said that doesn’t mean I won’t play it. There has been alot of new info out the last few weeks about the game that sounds cool. We’ll all just have to wait and see. COD4 will be good, for sure. IW are known to make good games, but if people are willing to call HALO 3 just another FPS, then what makes COD4 not just another FPS, that military shooter thing has been done to death. Give me unrealistic gameplay anyday of the week, I want to be able to jump over my enemy, shotgun him in the face, turn around throw a grenade the lenght of a football field,land…..and get run over by a mongoose.
