Xbox Live going down on the 10th
Put the date in your diaries people, as Xbox Live will be going down for some service upgrades in the early hours of the 10th September.
Xbox Live will be going down for a service upgrade on September 10, 2007 starting at 2:01 PDT and lasting for approximately 4 hours.
Nothing has been specified as to what this service upgrade includes, but people are rumouring that it is preparation for a certain shooter’s arrival on the 25th that has prompted this. Wouldn’t want Xbox Live to crash under the strain now would we?

Didn’t someone mention that xbox live was supposed to be getting faster servers for downloading? Wonder if this could be implementing it.
UK JAY it will not be the end of the second profile glitch. Trust me….thats gunna be a pain in the bum that not even the fall update will address. MAYBE the update after but I doubt even that will do it.
This update IS for faster servers. What comes out 15 days after this update? Halo 3? What is that? Global internet outage?

well hopefully it is a test to see if our current 360’s will live for another couple years, who wants to play Halo3 for a couple of weeks than just be forced to look at a red ring of death, I’m sure it will be a benchmark update that will make or break the 360’s. or I could be wrong. besides this it could be maintanence on the servers, anyone think of this?!!!!!
theyre adding a special program on xblive that reads what youre thinking through the screen then it sucks out your brain into the pad and that then travels down the cables as a mushy goo. the mushy goo finally filters out of the wiring into microsofts head office, where the ceos and production managers seperate it up and feast on your very soul. afterwards they shit out the partly digested soul and put that into the cloned cyborgs they have amassed in a big tent,these cyborgs with sweetcorn covered souls then process all complaints about the red ring of death. which is literally the red ring of death because when they file the complaint they also send out a squad of trained ninjas to murder you as you sleep.
