Ninja Gaiden II footage hits Xbox Live Marketplace
Fans of the hit Ninja Gaiden franchise have a little more to drool uncontrollably over this week with news surfacing that a sexy 10-minute chunk of first-run footage from the Tokyo Game Show has been made available for immediate consumption via the Xbox Live Marketplace download service.

While PlayStation 3 owners may have been scoffing at the exclusive snaffling of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on Sony’s next-generation platform, disgruntled Xbox 360 fans and lovers of Ryu Hayabusa have been celebrating recently following news that Ninja Gaiden II will appear as an Xbox 360 exclusive – and, it’s worth noting, also a true sequel offering seeing as Sigma was merely a revamped port of Ninja Gaiden Black, which first appeared on the now defunct Xbox.
After lithely (and silently, mark you) jumping online, Xbox Live subscribers can revel in the gloriously free Ninja Gaiden II presentation by simply tracing the following path:
“Go to Games > New Arrivals > Bringing It Home > TGS 2007 Press Conference Part 3.â€
Then, once the sizeable 703MB download has been completed, Ninja Gaiden fans can lose themselves in around 10 minutes of footage and developer walkthrough information for Tecmo’s latest sword-slashing extravaganza.
A forum post on NeoGaf from a member enjoying the download’s content while typing up his enthusiasm would indicate that Ryu’s next eagerly anticipated outing isn’t exactly short on open arteries, spurting crimson life blood, and fabumous in-game action.

Of course, the inclusion of Ninja Gaiden II footage on Xbox Live’s ‘Bringing It Home’ service would also indicate that, just like the E3 Media & Business Summit, the Japanese event’s unfolding content revelations will likely find their way to Xbox 360s fairly swiftly.
Those without access to Xbox Live Marketplace – or simply too lazy or impatient to download the content – can always click below in order to watch the Tokyo Game Show developer walkthrough and also take a peek at Ninja Gaiden II’s first beautifully rendered teaser trailer.
The Tokyo Game Show officially kicks off on Thursday, September 20. Trailer footage provided courtesy of GameTrailers.com.

The only Ninja Gaiden I have ever played was on the NES, but this looked fun (and hard)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
*Bum Rushes 360*
… Can’t establish connection to Live… FUCK!
OMFG! I can’t wait already.
Doesn’t look too good graphically
.
Did you download the HD version from Live? I thought that game looked amazing.
There was only one version I think and that’s in HD, so yeah, I did see it in HD. Looked like shit to me. I was expecting more. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ninja Gaiden but the graphics were truly disappointing.
This is still a build, they are not done with it, Duh! Haven’t you been paying attention?
I know they will get better. I was just saying they looked average at the moment …
I just went potty, took a quick peek at the results, did not see Ninja Gaiden staring back at me. So I will dissagree with your statement about the looks of this game.
I love the possibilities with this game, the blood and enemies look awesome, the overall enviroment could use a bit of a polishing. I mean Ninja Gaiden had amazing graphics all around, why would they fall short on the 360 no less?
O.O………
That giant screen behind Itagaki when he he was talking is where they film the video. it’s like a bootleg.
That certainly explains the poor graphical quality.
(My english is not very good) I can say personally as a reporter for team ninja that graphically the game is finished but Ryu Hayabusa has something special planned for october. (will say no more could get fired.
lol
Hi I LOVE NINJA GAIDEN game on the Xbox live colour black.
No sans no?
