EA releases new Simpsons screenshots
With the release of The Simpsons game for multiple games consoles not that far away, EA has released some brand new screens of the Xbox 360 version of the game. Unfortunately, these screens leave a lot to be desired for. Make up your mind on them after the jump.
As you can see, these screenshots certainly don’t look all that great. The graphics are quite poor, and it looks as though little or no effort is being put into the game. With the game set for an Autumn 2007 release, EA hasn’t left themselves much time to do anything spectacular with the game in terms of graphics. Hopefully the final version of the game will look at least a little bit better than this.
The Simpsons is due for release sometime in Autumn, but there is no exact date as of yet, and the game is being developed for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo Wii and DS.
This game looks like it will be fun. I will get it.

Yeah granted these shots don’t look all that and I’m suprised EA bothered to relase them as they are not exciting at all. But as many others have seen, the movies of the game available on the net show it to be a different game and even helped create interest for me in this game as I too thought it would be a pile of….!!!

I for one love these screenshots. They look like the show, and is that not what we all want. I am glad this is not just another 3D platformer.

I don’t think its a strech to ASSUME that a Simpson game would be a ‘kiddie’ platformer.
been waiting for this one , sure the graphics could be better but it still good pretty good imo. ( the movie was awesome )

Umm, dicks, they don’t want the graphics to be different than the show, so of course they will be plain. I could see them coming out with another south park games and you fuckers complaining about the graphics. They aren’t going for a Gears of War quality, they are trying to look like the show. and the last simpsons game, hit and run was quite fun.

true, and i have read that the game looks pretty good in motion anyway, just like a 3d version of the cartoon. i don’t think stuff like HDR lighting would mesh with a cel shaded game anyway…
At least the ‘Land of Chocolate’ is featured. That’s a step up.
They need to make Homer crash a gig now.
