NBA 2K8 demo released; Germany finally gets TimeShift
Fans of basketball not into EA’s NBA Live 08, but rather 2K Sports’ basketball series can now get a taste of the upcoming NBA 2K8 in the form of a small-sized demo via the Xbox Live Marketplace. In addition, Germany can finally get its hands on the TimeShift demo which saw release in other Xbox Live regions two weeks ago. Hit the jump for the details.

Feel sorry for the Germans (wow…never thought I’d say that) They will just now experience the horror that the rest has come to know as Timeshift.

i liked both demos yes cavs spurs and all timeshift needs 2 work on is the AI.
Can’t wait to download NBA2k8. Timeshift was a weak demo. Maybe the final game will be better.
Timeshift will suck. Don’t let the whole time manipulation make you think it’s a good game cause the whole time thing dies off in 2 minutes.
NBA2K8 is leaps ahead of Live. Ea is relying more on marketing than making good games. They were great when I was a kid and they were the only company making great sport games. Can’t say the same anymore.
I am not sure if I played the same game as you guys, but I thought the TimeShift demo was fantastic. I played it 10 times and each time I approached the enemies differently. It is definitely more involving than Gears or COD. It was pretty linear, but the time stuff was great to play with and I am sure the game opens it up a bit.
I also heard the mp was killer - we will see, but one of my friends saw it at Liepzig and was blown away by the options and gameplay with the time grenades.
Wow! NBA2K8 is my sports franchise of the decade. They keep getting better and better. Love this demo. If you love simulation basketball, it gets no better.
It’s seems like they addressed a number of previous issues. I love the player interaction and some of the new defensive moves. The players act just like their real life counterparts.
Must have! LIVE should just give it up. Oops, I forgot that some love arcade basketball.
