Exploits and gameplay issues that shouldn’t be there in the first place are a common problem in the current generation of gaming. The two latest games in need of some patching are Texas Hold’em, in which several exploits and bankroll troubles rear their ugly head, and Hexic 2, where players are currently in the grip of some bomb and timer issues. Lucky for you, those problems are in the process of being taken care of.

The patch for Texas Hold ‘em will be released in the form of a title update later this week and will include the following fixes:

• Players must now have adequate buy-in to start a game
• Enhancements in the quality of language translation
• Resolved exploit for increasing competitive bankroll

As a result, once the patch becomes available, the competitive bankroll and corresponding leaderboards will be reset , thus making sure there is fair play. Player Match and Single Player bankrolls and leaderboards, however, will stay untouched.

Coming tomorrow, the title update for Hexic 2 will bring forth the following updates:

• Bombs now appear as intended in continued saved games for Marathon or Timed modes; previously they did not appear if the game was saved on Level 8.
• In Timed saved games, the timer will now start as soon as a rotation is made in a saved game, rather than when the first combo is made. It still takes a valid combo to start the timer at the beginning of a new game.
• When there are no more available moves (detonating a special piece is still considered a valid available move), the board will now reset with new pieces.
• A sound is now played when a bomb first appears in Marathon or Timed more to give the player appropriate warning.

When the patch releases, Marathon, Marathon Weekly and Timed leaderboards will be reset to make things fair. Also, Timed and Level 8 Marathon saved games will no longer be valid, making them impossible to load. Other leaderboards and Survival saved games, on the other hand, will remain unaffected.
